Prayer Times in Madrid

Today in Madrid (Sunday, 8 November 2026, 28 Jumada al-Ula 1448 AH), Fajr is at 06:19, sunrise at 07:53, Dhuhr at 12:59, Asr at 15:41, Maghrib at 18:04 and Isha at 19:32 local time (UTC+1).

The times are calculated for 40.4168°, -3.7038° with the Muslim World League (Fajr 18°, Isha 17°) method, the convention most widely used in Spain, and the Standard (Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali) rule for Asr. Your local mosque may add a few minutes of precaution or use a different method, so its timetable takes precedence.

The qibla from Madrid is 104° from true north (ESE), on the great-circle route to the Ka'bah 4,598 km away.

On the June solstice, the longest day of the year in Madrid, Fajr is at 04:40, Maghrib at 21:49 and Isha at 23:45; the time from Fajr to Maghrib, the length of a fast, is 17 h 09 min. On the December solstice, Fajr is at 06:56 and Maghrib at 17:51, a fast of only 10 h 55 min.

Ramadan moves about 11 days earlier every year, so over a 33-year cycle the fasting day in Madrid ranges between these two lengths. See the Ramadan 2027 timetable for Madrid for suhoor and iftar times.
