Prayer Times in Dublin

Today in Dublin (Sunday, 8 November 2026, 28 Jumada al-Ula 1448 AH), Fajr is at 05:58, sunrise at 07:37, Dhuhr at 12:14, Asr at 14:13, Maghrib at 16:43 and Isha at 18:09 local time (UTC+0).

The times are calculated for 53.3498°, -6.2603° with the Moonsighting Committee Worldwide method, the convention most widely used in Ireland, and the Standard (Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali) rule for Asr. Because Dublin lies above 48° latitude, Fajr and Isha around midsummer follow the "seventh of the night" rule, as the sun does not sink far enough below the horizon. Your local mosque may add a few minutes of precaution or use a different method, so its timetable takes precedence.

The qibla from Dublin is 114° from true north (ESE), on the great-circle route to the Ka'bah 5,257 km away.

On the June solstice, the longest day of the year in Dublin, Fajr is at 02:55, Maghrib at 22:00 and Isha at 23:18; the time from Fajr to Maghrib, the length of a fast, is 19 h 05 min. On the December solstice, Fajr is at 06:55 and Maghrib at 16:11, a fast of only 9 h 16 min.

Ramadan moves about 11 days earlier every year, so over a 33-year cycle the fasting day in Dublin ranges between these two lengths. See the Ramadan 2027 timetable for Dublin for suhoor and iftar times.
