Prayer Times in Manama

Today in Manama (Sunday, 8 November 2026, 28 Jumada al-Ula 1448 AH), Fajr is at 04:31, sunrise at 05:48, Dhuhr at 11:24, Asr at 14:32, Maghrib at 16:54 and Isha at 18:11 local time (UTC+3).

The times are calculated for 26.2285°, 50.5860° with the Gulf Region (Fajr & Isha 18.2°) method, the convention most widely used in Bahrain, and the Standard (Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali) rule for Asr. Your local mosque may add a few minutes of precaution or use a different method, so its timetable takes precedence.

The qibla from Manama is 246° from true north (WSW), on the great-circle route to the Ka'bah 1,217 km away. Today at 16:04 the sun stands exactly in the direction of the qibla, so shadows point directly away from it, an easy way to check the direction without a compass.

On the June solstice, the longest day of the year in Manama, Fajr is at 03:14, Maghrib at 18:36 and Isha at 20:05; the time from Fajr to Maghrib, the length of a fast, is 15 h 22 min. On the December solstice, Fajr is at 04:57 and Maghrib at 16:54, a fast of only 11 h 57 min.

Ramadan moves about 11 days earlier every year, so over a 33-year cycle the fasting day in Manama ranges between these two lengths. See the Ramadan 2027 timetable for Manama for suhoor and iftar times.
