Prayer Times in Tirana

Today in Tirana (Sunday, 8 November 2026, 28 Jumada al-Ula 1448 AH), Fajr is at 04:46, sunrise at 06:20, Dhuhr at 11:25, Asr at 14:46, Maghrib at 16:28 and Isha at 17:57 local time (UTC+1).

The times are calculated for 41.3275°, 19.8187° with the Muslim World League (Fajr 18°, Isha 17°) method, the convention most widely used in Albania, and the Hanafi rule for Asr. Your local mosque may add a few minutes of precaution or use a different method, so its timetable takes precedence.

The qibla from Tirana is 134° from true north (SE), on the great-circle route to the Ka'bah 2,902 km away. Today at 08:20 the sun stands exactly in the direction of the qibla, so shadows point directly away from it, an easy way to check the direction without a compass.

On the June solstice, the longest day of the year in Tirana, Fajr is at 02:58, Maghrib at 20:17 and Isha at 22:17; the time from Fajr to Maghrib, the length of a fast, is 17 h 19 min. On the December solstice, Fajr is at 05:23 and Maghrib at 16:14, a fast of only 10 h 51 min.

Ramadan moves about 11 days earlier every year, so over a 33-year cycle the fasting day in Tirana ranges between these two lengths. See the Ramadan 2027 timetable for Tirana for suhoor and iftar times.
