Prayer Times in Perth

Today in Perth (Sunday, 8 November 2026, 28 Jumada al-Ula 1448 AH), Fajr is at 03:43, sunrise at 05:14, Dhuhr at 12:01, Asr at 15:41, Maghrib at 18:47 and Isha at 20:13 local time (UTC+8).

The times are calculated for -31.9505°, 115.8605° with the Muslim World League (Fajr 18°, Isha 17°) method, the convention most widely used in Australia, and the Standard (Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali) rule for Asr. Your local mosque may add a few minutes of precaution or use a different method, so its timetable takes precedence.

The qibla from Perth is 295° from true north (WNW), on the great-circle route to the Ka'bah 10,024 km away. Today at 13:50 the sun stands exactly in the direction of the qibla, so shadows point directly away from it, an easy way to check the direction without a compass.

On the December solstice, the longest day of the year in Perth, Fajr is at 03:27, Maghrib at 19:22 and Isha at 20:56; the time from Fajr to Maghrib, the length of a fast, is 15 h 55 min. On the June solstice, Fajr is at 05:49 and Maghrib at 17:20, a fast of only 11 h 31 min.

Ramadan moves about 11 days earlier every year, so over a 33-year cycle the fasting day in Perth ranges between these two lengths. See the Ramadan 2027 timetable for Perth for suhoor and iftar times.
