Prayer Times in Tripoli

Today in Tripoli (Sunday, 8 November 2026, 28 Jumada al-Ula 1448 AH), Fajr is at 05:59, sunrise at 07:31, Dhuhr at 12:52, Asr at 15:48, Maghrib at 18:10 and Isha at 19:32 local time (UTC+2).

The times are calculated for 32.8872°, 13.1913° with the Egyptian General Authority of Survey (Fajr 19.5°, Isha 17.5°) method, the convention most widely used in Libya, and the Standard (Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali) rule for Asr. Your local mosque may add a few minutes of precaution or use a different method, so its timetable takes precedence.

The qibla from Tripoli is 109° from true north (ESE), on the great-circle route to the Ka'bah 2,916 km away.

On the June solstice, the longest day of the year in Tripoli, Fajr is at 04:07, Maghrib at 20:19 and Isha at 21:58; the time from Fajr to Maghrib, the length of a fast, is 16 h 12 min. On the December solstice, Fajr is at 06:30 and Maghrib at 18:05, a fast of only 11 h 35 min.

Ramadan moves about 11 days earlier every year, so over a 33-year cycle the fasting day in Tripoli ranges between these two lengths. See the Ramadan 2027 timetable for Tripoli for suhoor and iftar times.
