Prayer Times in São Paulo

Today in São Paulo (Sunday, 8 November 2026, 28 Jumada al-Ula 1448 AH), Fajr is at 03:55, sunrise at 05:17, Dhuhr at 11:51, Asr at 15:15, Maghrib at 18:24 and Isha at 19:41 local time (UTC-3).

The times are calculated for -23.5505°, -46.6333° with the Muslim World League (Fajr 18°, Isha 17°) method, the convention most widely used in Brazil, and the Standard (Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali) rule for Asr. Your local mosque may add a few minutes of precaution or use a different method, so its timetable takes precedence.

The qibla from São Paulo is 69° from true north (ENE), on the great-circle route to the Ka'bah 10,602 km away. Today at 10:44 the sun stands exactly in the direction of the qibla, so shadows point directly away from it, an easy way to check the direction without a compass.

On the December solstice, the longest day of the year in São Paulo, Fajr is at 03:49, Maghrib at 18:52 and Isha at 20:15; the time from Fajr to Maghrib, the length of a fast, is 15 h 03 min. On the June solstice, Fajr is at 05:27 and Maghrib at 17:29, a fast of only 12 h 02 min.

Ramadan moves about 11 days earlier every year, so over a 33-year cycle the fasting day in São Paulo ranges between these two lengths. See the Ramadan 2027 timetable for São Paulo for suhoor and iftar times.
